La Follia Barocca: Italian Concertos

The acclaimed baroque ensemble, based in Milan, Italy, will perform music for strings by Francesco Geminiani, Pietro Antonio Locatelli, and Antonio Vivaldi.

Ensemble Leonarda: Globalization

In the spirit of "Les Goûts Réunis", a program featuring music by Sammartini (who lived in London), Boismortier (sonata in the Italian style), John Blow's Morlake Ground (based on the Italian ciaccona), and Telemann (Paris Quartet in A major).

NY Continuo Collective: Fall Workshop

The group performs selections of early Italian monody, featuring the music of Sigismondo d'India, whose collection of Musiche was published exactly four hundred years ago.
